Iván Herney H.

Iván Herney H. has a strong background in the industrial materials sector with experience in various roles within different companies. Iván Herney started their career at Cementos Argos in 2007 as an Analytical Chemist. In 2008, they joined Fosfatos de Boyacá as a Production Supervisor, where they were responsible for production planning and formulation of fertilizers. After that, they worked at Materiales Industriales as a Quality Facilitator, focusing on quality control and process improvement for refractory products. In 2013, Iván moved to Geocycle, where they worked as a Quality Control Technician, conducting physical-chemical analysis of fuels and alternative raw materials, and managing laboratory processes. Iván Herney'sresponsibilities included method development, execution of inter-laboratory tests, and participation in industrial trials. Iván Herney held various supervisory roles at Geocycle, including Process Supervisor and Laboratory Supervisor. Currently, Iván is working at Holcim Colombia as an engineer responsible for process operations and projects. Iván Herney recently transitioned to the role of Head of Plants of Tomorrow, leading initiatives related to plant optimization and innovation.

Iván Herney completed the "Fundamentos Data e Inteligencia Artificial" program at Platzi in November 2022. Iván Herney also graduated with honors from the DS4A / Colombia 6.0 program offered by Correlation One in July 2022.
