Karl-Heinz Boes

Karl-Heinz Boes is an experienced engineering professional with a strong background in materials science and process technology specific to the cement industry. Since September 2018, Karl-Heinz has served as Lead Engineer at LafargeHolcim-Holcim Technology, focusing on the application of robotics and artificial intelligence in cement factories. Prior to that, Karl-Heinz held positions as Lead Engineer at Holcim, leading material engineering and quality control efforts, while also engaging in mining, preparation, and handling processes. Over a substantial period from 2001 to 2014, Karl-Heinz worked as a Senior/Lead Consultant at Holcim Group Support, specializing in the optimization of grinding systems and the development of new plants. Previous roles at Anneliese Zement, ABB, and Holcim Deutschland have provided expertise in plant optimization, sales management, and energy optimization. Karl-Heinz holds a Master’s degree in Material Science and Process Technology from RWTH Aachen University.
