Neil Whitmer

Neil Whitmer is an experienced professional with a robust background in environmental and land management within the mining industry. As the Director of Environment and Land at Holcim since October 2021, Neil has focused on environmental oversight and land use strategies. Prior roles include Manager of Land, Legal, & Permits at Contact Gold, and Manager of Operations at U.S. Gold Corp. Neil also served as Manager of Lands, Legal & Environmental Affairs at Gold Standard Ventures Corp. and began a legal career as an Attorney at a law office. Educational credentials include a Juris Doctorate from Michigan State University College of Law, a Master's degree in Geological and Earth Sciences from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, and a Bachelor's degree in Geological and Earth Sciences from Indiana University Bloomington.
