Marcelo Arrieta

Marcelo Arrieta is an accomplished legal and corporate executive with extensive experience in the cement industry. Currently serving as CEO of Holcim El Salvador since May 2024 and CEO of Holcim Nicaragua since January 2021, Marcelo has previously held significant leadership roles, including Chairman of the Board of Directors at Holcim Argentina from April 2019 to April 2021, and Regional General Counsel for LafargeHolcim in Latin America from October 2014 to January 2021. Earlier positions include Gerente de Asuntos Legales for both Holcim (Argentina) S.A. and Cementos Minetti, as well as Abogado at Blanco & Damia Abogados. Marcelo Arrieta earned a law degree (Abogado) from Universidad Católica de Córdoba between 2000 and 2006.
