Holden Forests & Gardens is made up of two of Northeast Ohio’s most important environmental and cultural 
 institutions — the Holden Arboretum and Cleveland Botanical Garden — whose mission is to advance and inspire a deeper understanding of plants to enhance life. The 12th largest public garden in the country, Holden Forests & Gardens has more than 17,000 member households and annual attendance of close to 400,000, for whom we strive to provide inspirational and educational visitor experiences.

The Management team at Holden Forests & Gardens oversees various operational and strategic areas to ensure the effective delivery of their mission. This team collaborates with local communities to promote urban greening and sustainable practices, ensuring that educational experiences are both enriching and impactful for the region’s diverse audiences.

The Research and Conservation team at Holden Forests & Gardens focuses on scientific research, environmental restoration, and community forestry projects. They work to understand and mitigate threats to native plant species, promote forest health, and engage the community in conservation efforts, all to support vibrant green spaces and sustainable ecosystems throughout the Great Lakes region.

This team oversees the advancement of the institution's mission through educational programs, urban greening, environmental research, and visitor experiences. Key members include the President & CEO, who provides overall leadership; the Chief of Education and Guest Experience, who enhances educational and visitor initiatives; the Vice President of Development, who drives fundraising efforts; and the Interim Vice President of Finance, who manages financial health and sustainability.
