Derrell Ness

Derrell Ness is an experienced professional in the food service and consulting industries, currently serving as the Food Service Lead at Holden Village since September 2025. Ness has been self-employed as a consultant since April 2018 and previously held the position of Retail Manager at AVI Foodsystems from June 2023 to September 2025. As the Executive Director at Camp Camrec from October 2019 to September 2025, Ness focused on connecting communities through the mission of the Washington Mennonite Fellowship. Prior entrepreneurial ventures include founding Feathered Nesst Public House, a neighborhood gathering place in Portland, and Ready Distribution, a wholesale distributor of POS and digital video security hardware. Additionally, co-founding The Growlerie showcased Ness's commitment to local craft beverages. Educational background includes an MBA from UCLA Anderson School of Management and undergraduate studies at San Diego State University.
