Jessica Velasquez Balbuena is an experienced behavioral therapist with a strong background in customer service and sales. Currently serving as a Behavioral Therapist at Holding Hands Pediatric Therapy & Adult Services since April 2019, Jessica previously held similar positions at Positive Behavior Supports Corp. from May 2018 to April 2019. Prior to their career in therapy, Jessica gained valuable skills as a Customer Service Representative at American Honda Motor Company, Inc., and as a Sales Associate at NORDSTROM. Jessica also completed internships at Patricia Marquis Showroom and Samira’s Closet Boutique, focusing on sales, marketing, and customer relations. Jessica holds a Master of Science in Behavioral Sciences from Pepperdine University and dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Apparel Merchandise from California State University, Northridge, complemented by a minor in Marketing.

Holding Hands has been serving communities for over 16 years through Los Angeles, Burbank, Calabasas and now Whittier. As an outpatient community clinic, Holding Hands serves infants, children, adolescents & adults with developmental and mental health needs. Our clinical team focuses on the client’s strengths and individual differences while developing an intervention plan that addresses his or her unique profile. Our clinical team fosters a relationship not only with the client, but educates, empowers and supports the entire family unit. In addition to our pediatric services we provide counseling for individuals, couples and families. Holding Hands, where every individual has the potential to grow, learn and develop; they only need someone to believe in them and hold their hand.
