Karen Garcia

Karen Garcia is a Developmental Interventionist at Holding Hands Pediatric Therapy & Adult Services since May 2022. Previous experience includes working as an Office Assistant at the Center for Career & Professional Development at Kalamazoo College from January 2018 to 2021, as well as tutoring through the Community Advocate for Parents and Students (CAPS) program. In the summer of 2019, Karen interned with KIPP SoCal Public Schools in the KIPP Through College program, and earlier work experience includes a sales associate position at Forever 21 and a summer internship at the YMCA of the USA from June 2011 to August 2014. Karen holds two Bachelor of Arts degrees in Sociology and Anthropology and in English Language and Literature from Kalamazoo College, completed from 2017 to 2021, and graduated from Los Angeles Leadership High School in 2017. Additionally, Karen studied at SMA Negeri 2 Samarinda during 2015-2016.
