Prior experience includes roles as Director of Construction at Neal Communities, a key member involved in market growth, and Manager of Special Projects at Meritage Homes, overseeing construction risk management nationwide. Coughlin's career began at TOUSA, advancing from Superintendent to Vice President of Operations, managing significant revenue and production. Academic credentials include an Executive MBA from Florida Gulf Coast University and a BA in Public Administration from the University at Albany.
