Roy Carter

Roy Carter serves as President of Servant Bible Institute and Sr. Pastor at Central Baptist Church, roles held since January 2010 and May 2002, respectively. In addition to leadership in ministry, Roy has extensive experience as an Inspector for Alpha & Omega Home Inspection, LLC, and as a Motor Coach Operator for Holiday Tours, Inc., where responsibilities include serving as the lead driver for UNC Chapel Hill Football. Roy’s law enforcement background includes a tenure as a Police Officer with the Lynchburg Police Department. Educational achievements include a Bachelor of Science in Church Ministries from Liberty University and several advanced degrees, including a ThD in Theology, a Master of Divinity, and a Master of Arts in Pastoral Ministries from Trinity College of the Bible and Trinity Theological Seminary.
