Emmie van Oirschot has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Emmie started their career as a Research Assistant at VU University Amsterdam, where they supported Professor Ira Helsloot in conducting research for the Amsterdam fire brigade. In 2009, they joined Dienst Onderzoek & Statistiek, Gemeente Amsterdam as a Junior Researcher, responsible for tasks such as drawing up questionnaires, monitoring field studies, analyzing data, and building measurement and prediction models.

In 2011, Emmie transitioned to a role as a Marketing Intelligence Analyst at The Dutch Postcode Lottery. Emmie was later promoted to the position of Senior Marketing Intelligence Analyst, where they continued to provide valuable insights to inform marketing strategies. In 2012, they briefly worked as a Marketing Intelligence Analyst a.i. at Svenska PostkodLotteriet.

In 2016, Emmie joined Aegon Nederland as a Senior Customer Intelligence Analyst, focusing on analyzing customer data to drive informed decision-making. In 2018, they moved to Springer Nature as a Senior Manager Pricing & Commercial Analytics, where they played a crucial role in setting pricing strategies and providing commercial analytics support.

Most recently, in 2019, Emmie joined HolidayCheck Group AG, first as a Senior Pricing Manager and later assuming the role of Lead Commercial Performance. This role demonstrates their expertise in driving commercial performance and achieving business goals.

Throughout their career, Emmie has showcased their analytical skills, research capabilities, and ability to leverage data to make informed business decisions.

Emmie van Oirschot obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Administration, Communication and Organization from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU Amsterdam) between 2004 and 2007. Emmie then pursued a Master of Philosophy degree in Research in Organization Sciences from the same institution, completing it from 2007 to 2010. Later, in 2011 to 2014, they attended MIacademy for a Post Graduate degree in Marketing Intelligence.
