Award-winning trial attorney and DEI leader, Dana Tippin Cutler have a powerful role as Holistic Industries’ Chief Diversity Officer, increasingly important as the company continues to grow its teams and expand across the country. Dana has been deeply involved in Diversity and Inclusion issues in the legal profession. Her program, “Courageous Collaborations,” for discussing difficult issues regarding diversity in legal workspaces, won an American Bar Association award. Dana has spoken nationally and internationally on issues of diversity in the legal field and beyond. Highlights include training the National Center of State Courts members on developing diversity programs in state courts across the nation; training the Oregon State Courts on developing successful DEI Committees; completing her certification in Leadership in DEI at Northwestern University’s Weinberg College of Arts & Sciences.
With more than 30 years in the practice of law, Dana has served in several positions of bar leadership during her career, including being the first woman of color elected as President of The Missouri Bar, in 2016. Dana has tried more than twenty bench and jury trials. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in English, with honors, from Spelman College in Atlanta, Georgia, and her J.D. degree from the University of Missouri at Kansas City.
