Julissa Nunez is a skilled professional with extensive experience in engineering and ecology. Currently serving as a Graduate Researcher and Water System Design Consultant at The Grainger College of Engineering and as an Ecology Pathway Student Trainee with the US Army Corps of Engineers, Julissa also holds leadership roles such as Vice President of the Graduate Student Association and Graduate Mentor for the UF Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers. Previous positions include a Teaching Assistant for various engineering courses, Marketing Director at Illini 4000, and multiple roles at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, including research and student support. Julissa completed a Master of Science in Agriculture and Biological Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Integrative Biology from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
