Arnold Abernathy

Arnold Abernathy has a diverse work experience in various leadership positions in the field of information security and compliance. Arnold is currently serving as the VP Information Security & Compliance for Holland America Line. Previously, they worked as the Chief Information Security Officer at Canoo and held the position of Deputy Group Manager at Toyota Daihatsu Engineering & Manufacturing and Toyota Connected Asia Pacific. Prior to this, they served as the Deputy Chief Information Security Officer at Toyota Connected. Arnold has also held managerial roles in API Management Practice at CA Technologies and in security and privacy services at Ernst & Young, LLP and Deloitte & Touche, LLP. Arnold has a strong technical background, as evident from their previous roles as a software architect, programmer, and professional services provider at McAfee (formerly Preventsys) and as an architect/programmer at Quovera Inc.

Arnold Abernathy earned their Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Santa Clara University, completing their education between 1994 and 1998.
