Daniel Stefan Stoica is a seasoned maritime engineer with extensive experience in various roles across notable cruise lines and shipping companies. Currently serving as a Second Engineer (SEOW) at Holland America Line since August 2022, Daniel's previous positions include Second Engineer Officer at Norwegian Cruise Line, and roles as Second Engineer (SEOW) and 2nd Engineer Officer at Seabourn Cruise Line and PONANT, respectively. Earlier career experience includes serving as 2nd Ass. Engineer at Torvald Klaveness and as a Third Engineer at Furtrans Tanker & Ship Management. Daniel possesses a comprehensive understanding of machinery systems and maintenance, having managed operations related to auxiliary engines, compressors, emergency systems, and fuel transfers. Daniel holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electromechanical Engineering from Constanta Maritime University, completed in 2014.
