Irene Andress serves as the Vice President of Programs and Services and Chief Nursing Executive at Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital since October 2020. Previously, Irene was the Vice President of Patient Experience, Health Professions & Chief Nursing Executive at Michael Garron Hospital from May 2012 to October 2020, where responsibilities included strategic direction for nursing and clinical operations of the Emergency Department. Irene's experience also includes teaching as a Course Instructor at the Lawrence S. Bloomberg Faculty of Nursing and various leadership roles at Toronto East General Hospital, focusing on interprofessional practice and maternal, newborn, and child services. Irene's educational credentials include a Master of Nursing in Nursing Administration from the University of Toronto and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Ryerson University, along with advanced leadership training from the Rotman School of Management.
