Puja Ahluwalia is a skilled healthcare professional with extensive experience in rehabilitation and public health. Currently serving as Co-Director of National Programs at Realize / Réalise since October 2015, Puja leads initiatives to enhance access to rehabilitation services for individuals living with HIV and chronic health conditions through collaboration with stakeholders at all levels. Previous roles include serving as a Physiotherapist at Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital, where Puja applied innovative therapy techniques for children with cerebral palsy, and as a Project Coordinator for the Quality Improvement Decision Support Program at the Association of Family Health Teams of Ontario. Puja possesses a Master of Public Health from the University of Toronto and a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from McGill University.

Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital is Canada’s largest children’s rehabilitation hospital. Our vision is to create a world of possibility for kids with disability. We pioneer treatments, technologies, therapies and real-world programs that give children with disabilities the tools to participate fully in life. Holland Bloorview serves about 7,000 children each year, with about 600 inpatient admissions and 52,000 outpatient visits. Holland Bloorview is a world-class teaching hospital fully affiliated with the University of Toronto. We train future health-care specialists in the field of childhood disability.
