Suelan Toye is an accomplished communications professional with extensive experience in research communication and media relations. Currently serving as a Senior Research Communications Specialist at Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital since October 2019, Suelan focuses on showcasing the hospital's innovative research for children and youth with disabilities. Prior experience includes various roles at Ryerson University, starting in 2005, where Suelan held positions such as Public Relations and Communications Specialist and Media Relations Officer. Additionally, Suelan worked at the University of Toronto from 1999 to 2005 as a News Services Officer, crafting media releases and stories for the university's platforms. Suelan holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Waterloo.

Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital is Canada’s largest children’s rehabilitation hospital. Our vision is to create a world of possibility for kids with disability. Holland Bloorview serves about 7,000 children each year, with about 600 inpatient admissions and 52,000 outpatient visits.
