The Holland Symphony Orchestra is a semi-professional orchestra with strong ties to the local community. The orchestra began as the Holland Chamber Orchestra in 1989 and was incorporated as a non-profit organization in 1990, performing the first concert that spring under the direction of Gerrit Van Ravenswaay.
