Shilpa Walker

Shilpa Walker has an extensive work experience spanning over two decades. Shilpa currently holds the position of Chief People Officer at Hollard Insurance Australia since 2023. Before this, they served as the Chief People and Culture Officer at Newcastle Permanent Building Society from 2020 to 2022, where they were responsible for managing the HR function and spearheading cultural change. Prior to that, Shilpa worked as a General Manager of Human Resources at Commonwealth Bank from 2018 to 2019, overseeing a global restructure and implementing risk culture initiatives. Shilpa also held the position of Group HR Director at Hastings Funds Management from 2016 to 2018. Earlier in their career, Shilpa held various HR roles at notable organizations such as Macquarie Group, KPMG Australia, Barclays Investment Bank, Thomson Reuters, Baycorp Advantage, and NSW Health.
