Lovashnee Forte

Lovashnee Forte has a strong background in risk management and audit. Lovashnee currently holds the position of Chief Risk Officer (CRO) at Hollard Insurance. Prior to this role, they served as the Chief Audit Executive at Hollard Insurance.

Before joining Hollard Insurance, Forte worked at Clientele Life, where they held various roles. Lovashnee started as a Trainee Internal Auditor at Grant Thornton.

At Clientele Life, Forte worked their way up from a Group Internal Audit Supervisor to a Group Internal Audit Manager. Lovashnee then transitioned into the role of Chief Audit Executive, before finally taking on the position of Operations Executive. In their current role, they oversee strategic direction and oversight for several key operational areas, including client payments, broker and tied agency operations, market conduct, and quality assurance processes.

With over 15 years of experience in risk management and audit, Forte has developed a strong skill set and a proven track record in the industry.

Lovashnee Forte obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Wits Business School in 2015. Prior to that, in 2012, they completed the Management Advancement Programme at the same institution with a focus on Business Administration and Management. In 2006, Lovashnee earned a BCom Honours in Internal Auditing from the University of South Africa/Universiteit van Suid-Afrika. Lovashnee began their educational journey at the University of the Witwatersrand, where they received a bachelor's degree in BCom with a specialization in Accounting completed between 2000 and 2003. Prior to their university education, Lovashnee attended Marist Brothers, Linmeyer.
