Amogh Karwa Ph.D.

Amogh Karwa, PhD, MBA has extensive work experience in various roles at Hollingsworth & Vose. Amogh started in 2012 as a Scientist and then transitioned to the position of Technology Scout I in New Business Development. From 2014 to 2016, they worked in this role before taking on the position of Technology Scout II in 2017. In 2018, they became the Global R&D Manager - Product, Materials & Process, where they were responsible for managing product development and process improvement. In 2021, they were promoted to R&D Technology Director, focusing on Energy Solutions & Glass Fiber. Currently, they hold the role of Director Global Product Management for Energy Solutions and Glass Fiber, where they are responsible for P&L management, product portfolio management, new product introductions, and new business development. Amogh Karwa also has experience as a Graduate Teaching Assistant in the Department of Chemical Engineering at Auburn University and served as Vice President of the Graduate Student Council.

Amogh Karwa, PhD, MBA, holds a diverse education background. Amogh earned their Bachelor of Engineering degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Mumbai, Mumbai. Continuing their studies in the field, they pursued a PhD in Chemical Engineering at Auburn University. Later, they further expanded their knowledge by attaining a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the Isenberg School of Management at UMass Amherst. In addition to their academic achievements, Amogh holds certifications such as Engineer in Training (EIT) obtained from the Alabama State Board and a Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
