Brenda Cruz Natera

Brenda Cruz Natera is currently a 7th Grade Science Teacher at Hollister School District since January 2023, focusing on topics such as Matter/Chemistry, Plate Tectonics, and Health Education. In late 2023, Brenda completed field experience modules at National University, encompassing Exceptionalities and Student Success, Teaching Diverse Learners, and Classroom Management. Prior experiences include roles as a Senior Lab Technician and Laboratory Technician at Teknova, as well as various positions in the food service industry, including Assistant General Manager at Smashburger and Banquet Server at Rosewood CordeValle. Brenda also interned at Oceans Research, gaining hands-on experience in marine biology. Educated at National University, pursuing a Teaching Credential and Master's in Secondary Education, and holding a Bachelor of Science in Conservation and Organismal Biology from San Jose State University, Brenda combines a strong scientific background with practical teaching experience.
