Matthew Smith

Matthew Smith has over 15 years of experience in business process improvement and sales within the medical and surgical sectors. Currently serving as the Black Belt Business Process Improvement Lead at Hollister Incorporated since June 2010, Matthew has led Continuous Improvement projects utilizing Lean Six Sigma methodology. Previously held positions include Regional Sales Manager and Senior Territory Manager, focusing on the sale of continence products to healthcare professionals in the South West and South coast. Matthew's earlier experience includes working as a Territory Manager at Accrington Surgical, selling surgical instruments and consumables, and co-founding Love Inventory, which quickly became the largest independent inventory company in Poole and Bournemouth. Matthew holds a degree in Statistics and Mathematics from the University of Reading.
