Andrew Ghattas is an experienced media professional currently serving as a Media Creator for the Hollywood Arab Film Festival in Los Angeles, California, and as an Art Director for SYE English Community in Giza, Egypt. With a robust background in cinematography, Andrew has held various significant roles, including Director of Photography at Rotana and Media Production Manager at iPROTK Group in Cairo. Previous experience includes serving as Media Manager for President Abd El Fattah El Sisi's official youth campaign and working as a news cameraman for CBC Egypt and Al Tahrir TV Channel. Andrew holds a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication/Media Studies and is currently pursuing multiple Master of Fine Arts degrees in Filmmaking, Film/Cinema/Video Studies, and Cinematography.

Hollywood Arab Film Association - HAFA was founded in 2021 to take lead upon all the activities that enables bringing the Arab Cinema to the heart of Hollywood; thus launching the very first edition of Hollywood Arab Film Festival in April 2022. MISSION To promote inclusion and representation of North African and Arab filmmakers/artists in the American film and art industries by building their capacity through training, networking, and education. To promote cultural diversity and intercultural dialogue in the United States of America through the arts and cultural institutions, by connecting people and building a more cohesive and open society. VISION To create a central platform for Arab and North African artists and filmmakers to showcase their unique cultural identity, while also serving as a launch pad for their careers by strengthening their skills and widening their exposure to the world. To educate Western audiences on Arabic film culture and advocate for Arab filmmakers' work within the American industry.
