Nicola Albanese

Nicola Albanese has a varied work experience. In 2020, they began working as a Security Developer and Cyber Security Engineer for Holm Security. From 2010 to 2020, they worked as a Translator for Freelance Translator, translating IT and computer science, electronics and mechanics, legal, marketing, food and beverage, and tourism. From 2010 to 2020, they also worked as a Translator for EuropocketTV, translating news and reportage on European current events. From 2008 to 2010, they worked as a Reporter for HTML.it, writing news on the automotive industry. From 2007 to 2008, they worked as a Network Technical Support Agent for AT&T, providing first problem determination, remote testing and configuration of onsite equipment. From 2004 to 2007, they worked as a Copy Editor for Sitcom Editore srl, writing, editing, and proofreading articles and books, liaising with authors and publishers, and translating press releases, adverts, and articles.

Nicola Albanese began their education in 1998, when they attended Università degli Studi 'Gabriele d'Annunzio' di Chieti, where they obtained a degree in Translation and Interpreting in 2002. Nicola then continued their education at Sapienza Università di Roma, where they obtained a MA in Traduzione Tecnico-Scientifica in 2004. In 2015, they attended ABF Stockholm, where they obtained a SAS 2 Svenska som Andra Språk / Swedish as a second language degree in Swedish Language and Literature in 2017. In 2018, they attended Jensen Education and obtained certifications in Datorteknik 1a and Programmering 1 & 2 - Programming in JAVA. Nicola then attended Hermods AB and obtained a certification in Dator- och nätverksteknik in 2019. Nicola Albanese is currently enrolled at SIH – Stockholms Internationella Handelsskola, where they are studying to be an IT-säkerhetspecialist / IT security specialist, and is expected to finish in 2021. Additionally, they obtained a certification in Google Cloud Security & Identity Fundamentals from Google Cloud (NJ) in September 2020.
