Sharifa de la Prida

Sharifa de la Prida has extensive work experience in the legal field, particularly in executive and leadership roles. Sharifa currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Holmes Care Group, a position they have held since September 2021. Prior to their current role, they served as the Managing Director of the same company from August 2016 to September 2021. During their tenure at Holmes Care Group, they also held the position of Chief Legal Officer & Co Sec from May 2015 to July 2016, where they provided legal counsel and oversaw governance and compliance practices across the group.

Before joining Holmes Care Group, Sharifa worked as a Group Solicitor & Company Secretary at Ramboll, an in-house solicitor for Ramboll UK. Sharifa was responsible for handling non-contentious construction and commercial matters, as well as managing contentious matters and liaising with brokers/insurers from April 2013 to May 2014. Sharifa also worked as a Trainee Solicitor and Contracts Coordinator at Ramboll from July 2008 to March 2013.

Sharifa gained valuable experience in competition and trade law through their trainee solicitor secondments at Baker McKenzie and BLM in 2012. At Baker McKenzie, they focused on EU, competition, and trade matters, including market definition/merger control, cartel investigations, RPM/parallel trading, and sanctions.

In addition to their legal roles, Sharifa has also served as a Board Member at Pepe's Piri Piri since September 2016.

Lastly, Sharifa attended the Imperial College Business School from 2014 to 2016, where they successfully completed a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree.
