Connie Taylor has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. Connie started their career as a Sales Coordinator at Fuller Jeffrey Broadcasting, where they facilitated the sales process, managed client databases, and provided sales support. Connie then transitioned to the role of Promotions Director, where they organized and executed promotions for two radio stations, including events such as the St. Jude Radiothon and Iowa State Fair. Connie later worked as an Account Executive at Barnstable Broadcasting, where they developed a client list worth over $360,000 annually and created marketing plans to increase sales for their clients.

In 1997, Connie joined the Iowa Secretary of State as a Communications Coordinator. During their time there, they developed statewide public service campaigns, wrote press releases, and hosted press conferences to encourage voter registration. Connie also wrote opinion editorials published in newspapers statewide.

From 1999 to 2012, Connie worked at SHAZAM as a Senior Marketing Specialist. In this role, they led marketing communication strategy and execution on cross-departmental teams, created marketing materials, and wrote various types of communication for senior management.

Currently, Connie is employed at Holmes Murphy & Associates, where they have held multiple positions. Connie started as a Corporate Marketing Project Manager, developing communication strategies and managing the corporate website content. Connie then became a Corporate Marketing Business Partner, consulting with business leaders to develop marketing communications strategies and managing the brand in corporate channels. Connie is currently serving as the Marketing Director - Communications, where they oversee the execution of the corporate rebranding project and manages the brand within all corporate channels.

Connie Taylor began their education in 1989 at the University of Northern Iowa, where they studied English and Journalism. Connie attended this institution until 1991, although there is no record of their completing a degree program. In 1991, they transferred to Iowa State University and pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism/Mass Communications with an Advertising Emphasis. Additionally, they minored in English during their time at Iowa State University, which they completed in 1993.
