Kent McLaughlin

Kent McLaughlin has extensive experience in the employee benefits industry. Kent started their career in 2006 at Gallagher Benefit Services, where they served as an Employee Benefits Consultant for nearly eight years. Kent advanced to the role of Senior Vice President of Sales in 2014 and held this position until 2023. In February 2023, Kent joined Holmes Murphy as a Client Executive, specializing in employee benefits.

Kent McLaughlin's education history begins in 1977 when they attended Adel-Desoto High School, where they completed their secondary education. In 1982, they enrolled at Iowa State University to study journalism, and the following year, they attended Luther College to further pursue journalism. However, they did not earn a degree during their time at either institution. From 1984 to 1986, Kent attended Drake University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism & Marketing.
