Simone Wearne

Simone Wearne is an accomplished professional in sports media and management, currently serving as Course Leader for Sports Media and Sport Business Degrees, as well as a Lecturer at Holmesglen since February 2020. Prior to this role, Simone held significant positions in high performance management with Softball Australia, overseeing the Olympic Qualification campaign, and with Baseball Australia, managing the Women's National Team that won a bronze medal at the 2014 Women’s World Cup. Simone's expertise is further supported by a series of educational credentials, including an MBA and Graduate Certificate in Management from the Australian Institute of Business, and a Graduate Certificate in Learning and Teaching from Swinburne University of Technology. Throughout a diverse career, Simone has also worked in various operational and management roles, demonstrating strong leadership in sports and education.
