Akshay Seshadri

Akshay Seshadri is a skilled software engineer currently at Holocene Advisors, LP since February 2023. Previously, Akshay worked as a Full Stack Engineer at Genesis from August 2021 to January 2023, contributing to digital asset trading. Prior to that, Akshay was a Software Engineer at Amazon from May 2020 to July 2021, where development efforts supported advertisers in creating and managing advertisement graphics. Experience also includes serving as a Data Architect for TransAlta from July 2018 to May 2020, focusing on data management and machine learning for energy trading. Akshay began a research role at Smart Polymers and Composites Laboratory from May 2016 to July 2018, co-inventing an innovative oil leak detection system. Educational qualifications include a Master of Applied Science in Materials Science and Engineering and a Bachelor of Applied Science with Honors in Energy Systems, both from the University of Toronto.
