Matthew V. is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in the medical device and healthcare sectors. Currently serving as Vice President at Hologic, Inc. since September 2021, Matthew previously held the position of CEO and Co-founder at Palisade Heart from January 2019 to July 2021, where leadership focused on developing a cutting-edge therapeutic device for stroke prevention in patients with AFib. Prior to that, Matthew was involved in healthcare venture capital at Gilde Healthcare and held various strategic roles at Humedica and Philips, where responsibilities included launching ventures in precision medicine and leading business development efforts. Matthew's career began at BD, where roles spanned from product engineering to advanced concept development. Matthew earned an MBA in Finance and Marketing from Fordham University and a BS in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Rochester.
