Tammy Andrews

Tammy Andrews, CASC has extensive experience in the healthcare industry, particularly in ambulatory surgery centers. Tammy currently works as the Chief Officer of Ambulatory Surgery Centers at Holston Medical Group since December 2018. Prior to that, they served as the President of the SOUTH CAROLINA AMBULATORY SURGERY CENTER ASSOCIATION starting from January 2016.

From February 2015 to December 2018, Tammy worked as an Administrator at Carolina Coast Surgery Center and Carolina Orthopaedic Specialist. Before that, they held the position of Chief Financial Officer/ASC Director at Charleston ENT from May 2013 to December 2014.

Tammy's previous roles include Director of Ambulatory Surgery Centers at Holston Medical Group from July 2006 to May 2013, and Chief Financial Officer, Pacific Physician Services at Wesley Medical Center from January 2003 to July 2005.

Tammy also worked as a Financial Director at Hattiesburg Clinic, PA from January 2003 to June 2005, Business Office Manager at Oxford Surgery Center from July 2001 to January 2003, Staff Accountant at St. Dominic Hospital from February 1998 to August 1999, and Staff Accountant at Mississippi Baptist Health System from January 1997 to February 1998.

Throughout their career, Tammy has demonstrated strong financial management skills, improved patient satisfaction scores, increased net income, and successfully operated multi-specialty ambulatory surgery centers.

Tammy Andrews, CASC, completed their education with a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and Finance from Belhaven University, where they studied from 1993 to 1995. Before that, they attended Simpson Academy from 1986 to 1990 to complete their high school education, focusing on general studies. Additionally, Tammy obtained the certification of Certified Ambulatory Surgery Center Administrator (CASC) in January 2003.
