Zachary Watt

Zachary Watt is an experienced Instrumentation and Controls Engineer at Holtec International since July 2022, specializing in the design and analysis of safety and non-safety related I&C systems for the SMR-160 Small Modular Reactor, ensuring compliance with international regulatory criteria and industry best practices. Prior to this role, Zachary served in various capacities within the US Navy from October 2015 to May 2022, including Company Officer at the United States Naval Academy, where Zachary trained and mentored officer candidates, and as a Nuclear Submarine Officer, overseeing enlisted sailors and vital submarine operations. Zachary is a graduate of the United States Naval Academy, holding a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science.
