Tanner Yeates

Tanner has over a decade of experience providing tax consulting, compliance and structuring services and specializes in serving clients structured as pass-through entities, primarily in the private equity and real estate industry sectors. Tanner specializes in providing partnership tax consulting and compliance services. His experience includes addressing Hypothetical Liquidation at Book Value accounting, tax modeling, accounting for partnership basis adjustments, waterfall calculations, and other multi-tiered partnership tax issues. Tanner has extensive experience performing financial modeling for complex transactions. He focuses on the analysis of the tax efficiencies of proposed deal structures and conducts comprehensive tax due diligence.

Before joining HCVT, Tanner was the chief financial officer of a private real estate investment conglomerate consisting of 40+ service-providers and investment portfolios. His responsibilities included transaction structuring, financial evaluation, investment analysis, implementation, and addressing certain operational aspects.

Tanner was a tax manager at Deloitte, where he assisted regional competency specialists and the Washington National Tax Office. He worked with FORTUNE 100 companies to assist in structuring complex transactions, including complex financial modeling, while simultaneously working with all transaction stakeholders including legal, investment banking, and other advisors.
