Sophie Murphy

Sophie Murphy is a skilled legal assistant currently employed at Holwell Shuster & Goldberg LLP since June 2022, with previous experience in various roles. Prior to the legal field, Sophie served as a babysitter for private families from November 2019 to July 2022 and worked as a nanny for a dual-career family in the summer of 2019. Additional experience includes a political internship with The Advance Group in 2021, a field organizing internship with the Maine Democratic Party in 2020, and a bartending role at Barnard Bartending Service from December 2018 to May 2021, where Sophie completed TIPS Certification. As Risk Management Chair for Sigma Delta Tau - Gamma Tau, responsibility included ensuring safety at events. Sophie's early work experience includes serving as a certified lifeguard at the American Yacht Club. Sophie holds a Bachelor's degree in History from Barnard College, completed in 2022.
