Rick Mitchell

Rick Mitchell is an experienced digital design professional currently serving as the Director of Digital Experience & Design at Holy Family University since April 2024. In this role, Rick directs the vision and strategy for digital properties, managing the product lifecycle and enhancing user experience. Previously, Rick held the position of Senior UX Engineer at EY Design Studio, where technology was leveraged to create intuitive digital products, and collaborations were made with multidisciplinary teams. At Benefits Data Trust, Rick contributed as both a UI Developer and UX Researcher, focusing on UX/UI development and leading research efforts to enhance user experience. Additionally, Rick has extensive freelance experience as a Web Development and Communications Specialist and has worked at Apple Leisure Group as a UX/UI Developer, where front-end development and user experience improvement were key responsibilities. Rick holds a Master of Science in Teaching, Learning and Curriculum from Drexel University and is pursuing a User Experience Design Certificate from Cornell University.
