Joseph Cronin has a comprehensive background in security and law enforcement. Joseph started their career as a police officer in Hasbrouck Heights Police in 1987, eventually retiring as a Captain in 2013. Following this, they worked as a Security Supervisor at Hackensackumc at Pascack Valley from 2013 to 2014. Joseph then served as the Director of Security at Holy Name Medical Center starting in 2014, where they oversaw a 40-man security force ensuring the safety of staff, patients, and visitors.

Joseph Cronin obtained an Associate's degree in Criminal Justice/Police Science from Bergen Community College in 1986. In 1987, they received certification as a New Jersey Police Officer from the Bergen County Police Academy.
