Dean Vitarisi

Dean Vitarisi is the current Chief Financial Officer at Holyoke Medical Center, Inc. Dean has over twenty years of experience in finance and accounting, with a focus on healthcare.

Dean began their career as an accountant at T M Byxbee Co, before moving to CliftonLarsonAllen. In 1989, they joined Saint Mary's Hospital as their Director of Finance / Corporate Controller. In 2006, they moved to Yale New Haven Hospital - Saint Raphael Campus as their Accounting Manager. Dean stayed with Yale until 2011, when they became the Director of Finance at Trinity Health. In 2017, they were promoted to Vice President of Finance at Essen Health Care, a position they held until 2021.

In addition to their work in the healthcare industry, Dean has also taught as a part-time adjunct professor at Quinnipiac University. Dean holds a degree in accounting from the University of Connecticut.

They work with Rosemarie Ansel - Executive Director, Debra Strempek - Executive Director, and Simon Ahtaridis - Chief Medical Officer. Their manager is Spiros Hatiras, President & CEO.
