Kristine Barr

Kristine Barr has over 20 years of experience in the healthcare and technology industry. Kristine has held various leadership positions, including CIO and VP of Information Technology at Holzer Health System since 2015. Prior to that, they were the Director of IT Applications at Holzer Medical Center from 2011 to 2015. From 2000 to 2011, they served as the VP of Communication Services at O'Bleness Memorial Hospital. Kristine started their career as a Computer Support Specialist at Ohio University from 1998 to 2000.

Kristine Barr holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a specialization in Healthcare Administration, which they earned from Ohio University from 2016 to 2018. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree with a focus on Management Information Systems (MIS) from the same university, completing their studies from 1989 to 1993. In terms of their secondary education, Kristine attended Alexander High School from 1986 to 1989. Additionally, they are currently pursuing the Certified Healthcare CIO (CHCIO) certification from the CHIME institution, which is anticipated to be obtained in 2023.
