Alan Hilla, Jr. serves as the Central Jersey Office Director and Civil Practice Leader for New Jersey at H2M Architects + Engineers since November 2016. Prior to this role, Alan held the position of Principal Engineer at Leon S. Avakian, Inc. from July 2013 to November 2016 and served as Vice President at Birdsall Services Group from January 2006 to June 2013. Alan began career at Birdsall Engineering, Inc., progressing from Graduate Engineer to Design Engineer and eventually Principal Engineer from October 1990 to December 2005. Alan earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Rutgers University between 1985 and 1990, and completed earlier education at Manasquan High School and St. Denis Grammar School.
