Prior roles at HOM Furniture include Showroom Manager and Senior Sales Manager, where Chad focused on managing sales teams, overseeing HR functions, and supporting sales growth. Before joining HOM Furniture, Chad was the Store Manager at Lebeda Mattress Factory, successfully growing a Midwest factory direct mattress retail location from its inception in 1997 to become the top showroom among twenty locations in the company. Chad's strengths lie in team support, training, and effective communication of goals and strategies.

In 1979, a friend convinced him to convert one of his retail gift shops into a waterbed retail outlet, Waterbed Room.
