Lisa Dorn is a highly experienced Patent Specialist and Coordinator at Robins, Kaplan, Miller & Ciresi LLP since February 2004, possessing extensive patent prosecution expertise and a strong background in administrative legal support focused on patent research and analysis. Additionally, Lisa serves as a Customer Service Associate at HOM Furniture, assisting in various administrative functions, and as a Director with Nerium International, promoting their Age-Defying Skincare Treatment. Previous roles include Legal Administrative Assistant at Hamre, Schumann, Mueller & Larson, P.C., and Legal Assistant at Merchant & Gould P.C., where Lisa contributed to drafting and filing patent applications. Early career experience as a Floater Legal Secretary at Larkin Hoffman Law Firm involved a range of receptionist and secretarial duties, including working with the Minnesota North Stars. Lisa holds an Associate of Arts and Sciences degree in Legal Assistance from Anoka Technical College.

In 1979, a friend convinced him to convert one of his retail gift shops into a waterbed retail outlet, Waterbed Room. The company expanded its product line over the years operating as HOM Oak & Leather, Total Bedroom and in 1996 became HOM Furniture having a full-line of furniture.
