Catherine Kosten is currently the Head of AI and Legal Tech Innovation at Homburger since April 2024. Prior to this role, Catherine served as an Associate Researcher at ZHAW Institut für angewandte Informationstechnologie (InIT) from February 2020 to April 2024. Catherine's experience includes working as a Data Scientist and NLP Specialist at ABB from February 2018 to January 2020, where Catherine also held a prior position as a Linguistic Specialist focused on language database development and natural language generation. Earlier in career, Catherine contributed as a Linguist Annotator at Weborama and lectured English language and linguistics at Université de Bourgogne. Catherine's educational background includes a Doctor of Philosophy in Computer Science from Université de Fribourg, a Master's degree in Natural Language Processing from University of Lille 1 Sciences and Technology, and a Master of Arts in Linguistics with a specialization in Computational Linguistics from Université de Bourgogne. Additionally, Catherine holds two Bachelor of Arts degrees from George Mason University, one in Art and Visual Technology and the other in Linguistics with a specialization in French.
