Elizabeth Valencia, MSW, LCSW, is an experienced clinical social worker currently employed at Home Base since March 2023. Previously, Elizabeth worked at Boston Medical Center from August 2021 to March 2023, where responsibilities included providing direct support to patients in the OBGYN clinic and implementing individualized treatment plans. Elizabeth's extensive experience includes roles as a per-diem clinician and community clinical supervisor at Bay Cove Human Services, where Elizabeth managed caseloads, developed person-centered treatment plans, and provided crisis intervention. Elizabeth's educational background includes a Master's degree in Clinical/Medical Social Work from Simmons University and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of California, San Diego. Additional experiences include roles in trauma-informed care and educational support, showcasing a strong commitment to community service and individual well-being.

Home Base is a national nonprofit dedicated to healing the invisible wounds of war for Veterans of all eras, Service Members, Military Families and Families of the Fallen through world-class, direct clinical care, wellness, education and research – all at no cost to them – regardless of era of service, discharge status or geographical location. The program was founded by Massachusetts General Hospital and the Boston Red Sox.
