Melinda Wendling has a strong background in the healthcare industry, with a focus on elderly care. Melinda began their career in 1994 as an Elderly Services Program Case Manager for The Council on Aging of Southwestern Ohio. In this role, Melinda provided case management services and was responsible for evaluating service providers. Melinda also completed Drive Training and established ongoing training for over 300 participants. Melinda worked for the Council on Aging until 2005, during which time they became a Quality Technical Advisor and obtained ServeSafe Certification.
After leaving the Council on Aging, Melinda worked as a Program Coordinator for Senior Independence from 2005 to 2009. In this role, they had responsibilities in program coordination and management.
Currently, Melinda Wendling is the Director of Business Development for Southwest Ohio at Home Care by Black Stone, a position they have held since 2010. As the Director of Business Development, Melinda is responsible for developing and maintaining business relationships in the region.
Melinda Wendling pursued their education at Northern Kentucky University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Mental Health/Human Services from 1985 to 1990. Following this, they continued their academic journey at the same institution and achieved a Master of Public Administration in the field of Master Public Administration and Human Services between 1994 and 1996.
