Alex Alton

Alex Alton currently serves as the Assistant General Counsel at the Home Construction Regulatory Authority (HCRA), with experience as Senior Legal Counsel and Acting General Counsel. Prior to joining HCRA in May 2022, Alex Alton worked at Brauti Thorning LLP from 2014 to May 2022, progressing from Summer Student to Articling Student, and then to Lawyer. Educational credentials include a Juris Doctor (J.D.) from the University of Toronto (2012-2014), a Juris Doctor (J.D.) from the University of Manitoba (2011-2012), and an Honours Bachelor of Social Science in Political Science from the University of Ottawa (2006-2010).
