Wendy Moir

Wendy Moir currently serves as the CEO and Registrar of the Home Construction Regulatory Authority (HCRA) since April 2021. Prior to this role, Wendy Moir was a Ministerial Appointee to the Executive Committee of the Building Officials Association of BC from January 2020 to April 2021. At BC Housing from April 2010 to April 2021, Wendy Moir held the position of VP & Registrar, overseeing operations and strategic direction related to the Homeowner Protection Act. Wendy Moir's experience also includes serving as Deputy Registrar at the Homeowner Protection Office from June 2005 to April 2010, where significant improvements to licensing and customer service were achieved. Earlier, from 1999 to 2005, Wendy Moir was the Director of Registration & Licensing at the Architectural Institute of BC, focused on architect registration and licensing. Wendy Moir holds an LLB from the University of Calgary and a BA in Political Science and English from the same institution.
