Jhyda Pura-Quilla is an experienced freelance photographer specializing in portrait and event photography, utilizing both analog and digital formats along with darkroom processes since January 2000. With a distinct aesthetic style, Jhyda directs lighting and studio design for on-location shoots and collaborates with various stakeholders to meet client goals. Jhyda has also excelled in hospitality as the Guests & Events Manager at Airbnb, maintaining a 5-star Superhost rating by providing tailored guest experiences. In previous roles as Logistics Manager and Quality Control Supervisor, Jhyda enhanced supply chain productivity and quality control processes at Home Essentials & Beyond, Inc., Marubeni America Corporation, and Gary Graham Collections. Jhyda holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photography from New Jersey City University and a degree in Fine Arts/Visual Communication from Kean University.
