Laura Matchett

Laura Matchett (Chartered MCIPD) has a diverse work experience history. Laura began their career as a Consultant at cpcr, where they worked on leadership development projects from June 2004 to July 2006. Laura then joined Whitewater Consulting as a Consultant from August 2006 to March 2009, where they were responsible for designing and delivering various OD consultancy projects for both private and public sector clients. In March 2009, Laura worked as an Occupational Psychologist at Momentum North East, overseeing client intakes and designing programs for individuals returning to work after brain injuries. Laura joined Northumbria Police in June 2009 as a Recruitment Team Leader/Business Partner, where they were responsible for developing and implementing a new workforce plan. Finally, Laura joined Home Group in June 2012, initially as an Organisational Development Business Partner, then progressing to Organisational Development Manager, and finally, as the Head of Learning and OD. Throughout their time at Home Group, they focused on creating and sustaining high performance and engagement, establishing the OD practice, and collaborating with stakeholders to identify and deliver OD activities that aligned with the company's strategy.

Laura Matchett (Chartered MCIPD) completed their education with a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Psychology from the University of Nottingham in 2003. Laura then went on to earn a Master of Science (MSc) in Occupational Psychology from Northumbria University in 2004.
